What a great job Mr Anari did on my forehead skin cancer (BCC) for which I had previously been having various treatments (unsuccessfully) over 25 years. Following MOHS treatment by Dr Al-Rawri they jointly identified possible ingress to the skull bone. So Mr Anari, within 2 days, fitted me in to his clinic to undertake skull drilling followed by skin grafting procedure. One tiny area of the skin graft failed to heal properly and he quickly undertook a clever repair using a skin flap procedure. He gave full information, was very focused, and worked extremely efficiently on what I considered to be challenging operations and a busy theatre list. Throughout he also had an appropriate level of humour! We were aware that he was under heavy pressure to deal with so many patients on his list and appreciated extra consultations arranged at weekends. I cannot think of any way he could have improved my care.

Mr Anari was friendly and professional with a gentle calm manner. During my consultations Mr Anari explained everything to me in detail. The operation went very well and Mr Anari was incredibly reassuring and attentive to my nerves. I am very pleased with the results and the after care I received.

Following diagnosis of a Basal Cell Carcinoma on the side of my nose i was naturally concerned that this would need corrective surgery to remove, more so for my preconceptions i had with regard to my appearance after invasive surgery that was required. Dr Anari thoroughly explained the procedure involved and allayed my fears to a significant degree without being dismissive to the risks involved in not having it removed. The subsequent surgery went better than i could have expected thanks to the skill of Dr Anari and his team. After some 2 months post-op i am now fully healed and the cosmetic effects are negligible to a level where many people remark they cannot see where the reconstruction has been carried out. The one thing that could improve the overall process would be to speak to a Doctor, after surgery on the recovery ward, to better explain the dressings and ointment application requirements in more detail.
